So Freakin' Romantic
My husband was talking to another male about how women freak out over stupid things, whine about "you're going without me?," and spend way too much money on things that are "such a good deal from the half-off clearance bin."
Of course, I gave him THE LOOK!
That's when he said the sweetest thing ever: "Oh Honey, not you. You don't do that stuff. You're like half man or something."
Be still my fluttering heart.

us guys, we're dumb like a barrel of hammers, but we do what we can to make up for our thoughtless mouths with our sincere hearts. I'm sure he meant it in the sense that you both get along so well he looks at you like his best friend.
Hee Hee Hee
The funny thing is, I really do take that as a compliment. Most of the women I know really do whine and shop excessively. (It's a major reason why I simply can't see myself becoming a lesbian, and if I ever end up actually becoming a man in some future life or by a bizarre surgery room mix-up, I'll definitely have to be gay.)
And we both had a good laugh about it. (I wasn't upset in the least.)
He really is my best friend. (And I'm his too... Right honey? Right?)
