Managing Your Time
Page Updated on
April 08, 2007 Time management is often the topic everyone asks about when trying to organize his / her life, as if it's some secret that only the successful people know about and aren't willing to share. You have 1,440 minutes in every day (just like everyone else). You should spend at least 480 of those minutes sleeping, leaving you with 960 minutes for everything else in life. (Some people skimp on sleep to squeeze in a few more minutes for everything else, but I don't recommend doing this. The less sleep you have, the less functional you are when you're awake. You actually get more done if you have a full eight hours of sleep.) How you spend those 960 minutes is entirely up to you. You can spend them in front of the television, working, handling day-to-day needs, building relationships with your family members, or fulfilling your dreams, but the big question is how do I get it all done?
