My Motivation to Lose Weight
Updated on July 28, 2007
I want to lose because I deserve to:
-
Reduced my chances of developing illnesses
-
Reduced the chance that I'll die early
-
Do more hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, and frolicking without getting tired quickly
-
Get attention from the opposite sex (I'm happily married, but it's always feels good when somebody flirts with you)
-
Go shopping at any store and find something that fits me and actually like the clothes
-
Jog without jiggling and hurting my knees
-
Jump rope without losing my balance because my bouncing fat throws me off balance
-
Have a better sex life (I'm not going into details, it's great already, but I'm sure losing weight will make everything better)
-
Be an example for my kids (so they don't end up dealing with weight issues like I did growing up)
-
Have people think that I'm athletic rather than a couch potato or computer geek
-
Inspire other people to lose weight and get healthy
-
Wear a bathing suit without shame
-
Go to my class reunion without wondering what people say to each other about how fat I've become
-
Not be the fat mom
-
Look at a photograph of myself without cringing
-
Knowing that I can do anything I put my mind to and not letting anything stop me
