Bubble Games: Games to Play with Bubbles

Content Written/Updated on July 10, 2007

Biggest Bubble Contest

Everyone gets the same equipment (for fairness).

Have each person blow a bubble. The person who makes the biggest bubble wins.

If you're playing against yourself, just keep trying to blow bigger and bigger bubbles.

If playing with multiple players, try to have a judge, or a panel of judges, determine the winner.

Smallest Bubble Contest

Everyone gets the same equipment (for fairness).

Have each person blow a bubble. The person who makes the smallest bubble wins.

If you're playing against yourself, just keep trying to blow smaller and smaller bubbles.

If playing with multiple players, try to have a judge, or a panel of judges, determine the winner.

Most Bubbles Blown in One Breath Contest

Everyone gets the same equipment (for fairness).

Have each person take a huge breath and try to blow as many bubbles as they can. The person who makes the most bubbles in one breath wins.

If you're playing against yourself, just keep trying to blow more and more bubbles.

If playing with multiple players, try to have a judge, or a panel of judges, determine the winner.

Bubble Floating Contest

Everyone gets the same equipment (for fairness).

Have each person blow a bubble. Once the bubble is in the air, try to keep the bubble in the air by blowing underneath it gently. The person who keeps the bubbles in the air longest wins.

If you're playing against yourself, just keep trying to keep the bubbles in the air as long as you can.

If playing with multiple players, try to have a judge, or a panel of judges, determine the winner.

If playing in teams, each team blows together to keep the bubble in the air.

Biggest Stack of Bubbles Contest

Everyone gets the same equipment (for fairness).

Have each player blow a bubble with the first bubble wand. Now blow a bubble with the the second bubble wand. Try to set the first bubble on top of the second bubble.

If you're playing against yourself, just keep trying to stack as many bubbles as you can.

If playing with multiple players, try to have a judge, or a panel of judges, determine the winner.

If playing with teams, give each person 1 bubble wand and have the team members try to stack the bubbles up together onto 1 wand.

Bubble Popping Contest

Have one person blow as many bubbles as they can. Meanwhile, the player tries to pop as many bubbles as they can. The person who pops the most bubbles wins.

If you're playing against yourself, just keep trying to pop as many bubbles as you can.

If playing with multiple players, try to have a judge, or a panel of judges, determine the winner.

If playing in teams, each team will have at least one bubble blower and at least one bubble popper. You can take turns, so everybody will have a chance blowing and popping.

Blow a Bubble Inside a Bubble Contest

Everyone gets the same equipment (for fairness).

Each player starts at the same time. The first player to successfully blow a bubble inside a bubble wins.

If you're playing against yourself, just try to see how many times you can blow a bubble inside a bubble.

If playing with multiple players, try to have a judge, or a panel of judges, determine the winner.

The Bubble Races / Relay Races

Everyone gets the same equipment (for fairness).

On your mark, get set, and go! Each player blows a bubble at the start line and tries to blow it all the way across the room to the finish line. If the bubble pops, the player must go back to the start line and start over. The first person who gets to the finish line wins.

If you're playing against yourself, just keep trying to cross the finish line as fast as you can.

If playing with multiple players, try to have a judge, or a panel of judges, determine the winner.

If playing in teams, play it as a relay race. Once team member 1 gets to the finish line, he tags team member 2, then team member 2 must race his bubble back to the starting line. Then he tags team member 3, and so forth until every member of the team has played. The first team that has all players finish wins.

Bubble Basket Ball / Soccer / Football

Everyone gets the same equipment (for fairness).

The judge / referee stands in the middle of the field and blows the first bubble. Each team (a team can have one or more players) tries to blow the bubble into their goal. You can either keep score, earning a certain number of points for every goal, or you can decide that the first team that scores wins.

Try to have a judge, or a panel of judges, determine the winner.

Bubble Tag

Everyone gets the same equipment (for fairness).

Bubble tag is like regular tag, but the tagger tags with bubbles rather than touching. One player is the tagger. The tagger tries to tag other players by blowing bubbles at the other players. The bubbles must actually land on the other players for the tag to be successful. The tagger wins by tagging a pre-determined number of players (as few as 1 or as many as all).

Try to have a judge, or a panel of judges, determine the winner.

Escape the Bubble Maze

Everyone gets the same equipment (for fairness).

In a bubble maze, one or more bubble blowers blow the bubbles while the other players try to walk through the room of bubbles without letting any of the bubbles land on them. The more bubbles, the more difficult it is to get through the maze. The person who gets through the bubble maze the fastest wins.

Try to have a judge, or a panel of judges, determine the winner. It is usually easiest to keep track of each player by having them go through the maze one at a time rather than having multiple players go through at a time.
