It sounds ridiculous to have emergency educational resources for an emergency situation. Who has time to study? You'll be thankful, though, if you have a few reference books on hand. Unless you train frequently for emergency situations, you probably won't remember which plant is poisonous, how to properly care for a broken finger, how to put together an appetizing meal without a microwave, or even how to put together that tent you haven't used in years. It really is surprising how much we take for granted, so build up that reference shelf in your bookcase.
